This is a story of love. Love for oneself, love for one's dreams and love for love. I do read a lot of romantic novels, but without ever choosing to read them for their romantic themes in particular. And as for this one, I don't regret reading for one bit.
Mr Crimsworth teaches us how to appreciate the value of our own selves. That we need to know when we can choose to stay, and when it is time to go. When deep thinking matters, and when a decision has to be made, no matter how difficult or painful it is.
Mr Crimsworth's brother shows us how blood isn't always thicker than water, and Mr Hunsden shows us that kindness is blind to one's relationship with the other.
Both Mr Crimsworth and Frances have big dreams. They love each other by nurturing each other's dreams - they give each other support, understanding, time and the space to grow. They put in each other trust and respect. And each of them opened themselves to receive help from the other.
That is, to me, the most beautiful thing about their love. That it is based on mutual understanding, deep respect for one another and the continuous effort that they put in to sustain their love had helped it thrive.
In the end, it worked for them. They achieve their dreams while embracing warm love from each other.
I have no doubt that this is the kind of relationship that I want for myself. Wouldn't it be beautiful to have one who loves us for the beauty of our soul and mind, and share the same dreams as we do? I believe so.
An excellent read. Heartwarming, satisfying and inspiring.
